Paratriathlon Talent Development Camp

Where: Victoria, BC
Who: All Para athletes with an interest in pursuing excellence in Paratriathlon
Triathlon Canada will be hosting a Talent Development camp in Victoria, BC with the intent of
building a Paratriathlon Performance Center beginning in 2017. If you have an interest in
Paratriathlon this is an excellent opportunity to enter the Paralympic Pathway.
The Talent Development Camp will be lead by:
- Paralympic Head Coach, Carolyn Murray
- Assistant Paralympic Coach, Michel Elibani
- ITU Classifier Candice Stapleton
- CSI-Pacific Staff
Accommodation for camp attendees will be blocked off and available at a discounted rate at the Accent Inn- https://www.accentinns.com/victoria Targeted athletes will receive a training plan and follow up testing subsequent to the camp.
Tentative Camp Schedule:
Friday Dec 9th:
- 12:00-17:00 Arrivals, introduction, easy run
Saturday Dec 10th:
- 8:30 – 17:30 2km run test, movement screen, individual meetings
- 18:30 Group dinner
Sunday Dec 11th:
- 9:00 – 17:00 Cycling testing, individual meetings, swim assessment
Monday Dec 12th:
- 6:00-9:00 Departures
