I need to replace my bit of an old gutter (heavy old style type to be replaced with hard plastic) if a terraced house. There are wires so gutter guy is saying cherry picker can’t be used and he needs scaffolding. He said I would need to get permission for this. Where do I start?

Hi there! Dealing with home repairs can be overwhelming, but it sounds like you’re taking steps to get your gutter replaced. If your gutter guy needs scaffolding to do the job properly, then it’s definitely worth getting the permission you need to make it happen.
One option could be to reach out to a siding contractor in your area, as they often have experience with installing gutters and may be able to provide some guidance on the best approach for your terraced house.
Good luck with your gutter replacement!
